Do you feel passionate that everyone should have equal opportunity to enjoy wildlife and natue?
Do you enjoy chatting to and helping people?
Are you interested in wildlife conservation and animals?
If you can answer yes to these questions, then our Community Engagement Volunteer role at London Zoo is just for you!
You don’t need to be an animal or conservation expert to undertake this role. We'd love to hear from people from all backgrounds, but you must enjoy chatting to people and want to support them to enjoy their time at the Zoo.
We’re ZSL, an international conservation charity. Our vision is a world where wildlife thrives and we’re working every day to achieve this. From investigating the health threats facing animals, to helping people and wildlife live alongside each other, we are committed to bringing wildlife back from the brink of extinction. Through the work of our pioneering scientists, our dedicated conservationists and our unrivalled animal experts in our two zoos, we guide and enable others in the UK and all across the world. Inspiring, informing, empowering – working for wildlife.
The Tsaobis Baboon Project is a field-based wildlife research programme that studies desert baboons and their environment in Namibia. Every year, we recruit a small team of field volunteers to assist with our scientific work.
